The Journey to Visit and Pay Tribute to the Carpentry Ancestors Across Three Regions – Thach That (December 26, 2024) by Woodsland
Today, representatives from Woodsland participated in the event “The Journey to Visit and Pay Tribute to the Carpentry Ancestors” at Chang Son Craft Village, Thach That, Hanoi – a place steeped in cultural heritage and the rich history of the woodworking craft. This event is a pivotal part of the series leading up to the 2025 Carpentry Ancestor Memorial Ceremony, themed “Reunion Across Three Regions.”
During the event, Woodsland’s representatives joined partners, artisans, and businesses in the industry to exchange creative ideas and seek collaboration opportunities to not only preserve but also sustainably develop Vietnam’s woodworking craft. This was an occasion for Woodsland to honor the craft’s ancestors and reaffirm its commitment to enhancing product quality while fostering connections among artisans and businesses in the sector.
In a solemn atmosphere, Woodsland representatives and other participants offered incense in remembrance of the carpentry ancestors, expressing deep gratitude to those who have preserved and developed the craft over generations. Woodsland takes pride in being part of this journey and pledges to continue working alongside the artisan community and businesses to create exquisite woodcraft products that embody Vietnam’s rich cultural identity.
We hope that through activities like this, Vietnam’s woodworking industry will continue to thrive and spread traditional cultural values to future generations. Stay tuned for upcoming events in the journey to honor the craft’s ancestors, culminating in the 2025 Carpentry Ancestor Memorial Ceremony – “Reunion Across Three Regions, Connecting the Essence of Vietnam’s Traditional Craft Villages.”
